FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. Is it easy to grab items out of inventory and place them on a proposal for another client?

    1. Yes! The best way to do this is to clone the item to another project, and then you can to a proposal from there. Just make sure to update the quantities for the inventory item, as well as the newly cloned project item.

  2. If we have an item that we didn't use from a project, how do we move it to inventory?

    1. We would suggest still making a project called "Inventory" if you don't already have one. Then you can move clone it to your Inventory project, and update the quantities that way.

  3. If an item is in my Inventory, I am not technically buying it from a vendor. What is the best way to mark the purchase cost?

    1. Our suggestion would be to check the "No net purchase cost" box when updating the pricing of the item.

And that is how you can create an Inventory. For further information please make sure to reach out to our help desk via the chat icon in the bottom right corner of your Designer Link 2.0 browser, or you can always email us directly at [email protected].
