Updated over 2 weeks ago

The All Items Page is a comprehensive view intended for designers to access all of their past and present items for which they have created. The page's use can vary depending on the firm, but typically are used to look at past item prices, photos for inspiration, or even actionable moves, such as cloning an item to another project to save input time.

In this Video Tutorial, and some Best Practices, we are going to show you how to best navigate your All Items Page in Designer Link 2.0. The bottom of this page also includes Related Articles and Frequently Asked Questions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. Can I sort from the All Items Page to locate project specific items anyway?

    1. Yes! Please take advantage of all of our sorting and filtering options located at the top of the item table. To sort by project, you would just need to include the project column, and then filter by the project you intend to look at.

  2. What is the Archive and Reusable Item View?

    1. Archived items, are items that you manually "archive", and are typically done when an item is no longer necessary. Designers usually archive them to clean up their item views. Reusable Item Views include the items you have saved as "Template Items". Similar to cloning an item, this feature is used if you have a pillow spec you typically buy, or some version of labor you use a lot, and don't want to waste time entering on each item.

  3. Can I create Proposals from the All Items Page?

    1. You can complete every action you would do from the project page's custom view. Just make sure items you include on proposals/purchase orders are from the same Project.
